Spencer Farm began in 1982, and until 2007 was known as Spencer's You-Pick. The first strawberries were planted in 1982 with the first harvest in 1983 with strawberries only. From that time many crops have been added through the years such as red raspberries, black raspberries, blueberries, field grown chrysanthemums, and autumn crops like pumpkins. We have also planted asparagus, and rhubarb for 2012. Started primarily as a small fruit "pick your own" farm, Spencer Farm now sells pre-picked, u-pick, and wholesale throughout Indiana. There has been an expanded farm market added in 2008. |
